Optimized for the mariner, the Magellan MLR SP24 and SP24 XC offer fast acquisition, rapid calculations and 3-meter accuracy, RMS (2D)*, in a lightweight, easy-to-use handheld GPS receiver.   With SP24 XC you can easily upload detailed shore line charts with the addition of Magellan® CartoMLRTM software. A database of the main port entry lights and lighthouses in the English Channel, Atlantic and Mediterranean is included in the waypoints memory.

  Store up to 20 routes, 500 waypoints and 1,000 details to give plotting-points allowing you to easily record your journeys and find your way back. FlashRom technology saves your information for up to 100 years without a backup battery. With the addition of the Magellan DataSendTM CD Rom, you will calculate routes on a European scale, including more than 200 000 points of interests.

Three compressive levels of tutorial support allow you to easily learn the basic functions and more complex operations for navigating, entering and managing routes and waypoints, and finding your way back to your point of departure with the unique Home function. The software is available in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norvegian, Vietnamese (+ Portuguese for SP 24 only).
