Compact and discreet, this "active antenna" houses a complete GPS receiver providing position, altitude, speed, course, satellite orbit information and reception signal levels at an update rate of 1 second. It is based on advanced technology with 12 parallel channels and dual acquisition for an even shorter time to first fix. Standard NMEA output allows easy integration into your communication and navigation systems.

  GA24X can be programmed to automatically store up to 4,000 waypoints at regular time or distance intervals. Position, altitude, date and time for each of the recorded track points can be easily downloaded to PC and other systems in standard NMEA or binary formats

  The GA24X is the ideal GPS for a host of applications. Superior GPS performance, low power consumption and standard connector allows it to fit easily on any boat.
  
  In fleet tracking or route logging applications, the GA24X can be used as the GPS sensor. Its Electromagnetic Compatibility (EC) specification in compliance with the CEI945 norm, and its fully configurable RS422 (or RS232) serial port make easier its integration with radio communication or wireless phone systems. 
  
  The GA24X also provides guidance information for target navigation. It can compute the course to steer, the distance to go, the cross-track error and the actual speed to the target. The target position is sent to the GA24X through the serial input.
